Parameters

input
Type: SystemString
The current string.
length
Type: SystemInt32
The number of characters to return. If 0, a zero-length string ("") is returned. If greater than or equal to the number of characters in the string, the entire string is returned.

Return Value

Type: String
Returns a string containing a specified number of characters from the right side of the string.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
